St Joseph Catholic Primary School

Welcome to St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School Wesham. This is the start of an exciting composition project that we hope to develop over the Spring Term 2008.

On Wednesday 30th January we will have a visit from members of the Philharmonia Orchestra and in the afternoon we are all going to Blackpool Pleasure beach to hear them play.

We already have lots of music making in school. We learn:

• flute
• clarinet
• violin
• keyboard
• guitar.

All Y3/4 learn the guitar for 2 years and we have just added a full drum kit to our ensemble work!

I am really looking forward to developing some great musical ideas with the children.
